Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson born to British lawyers Jacqueline Luesby & Chris Watson in Paris, France. When she was a kid she was enrolled in the Dragon School in Oxfordshire. Emma was aspired to become an actor from the age of at the age of six. She attended Stagecoach Theatre Arts in Oxford, an acting school which offers classes for part-time students. When she was ten, she was performing and taking part in many Stagecoach shows and school productions. Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2000) the film adaptation of J.K. Rowling's bestselling British novel was first cast in 1999. Emma was found by casting agents via Emma's Oxford theatre teacher. David Heyman told Emma along together with Rupert Grint, Daniel Radcliffe after having 8 consecutive auditions. Emma's debut film was made with the release of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2002). It also was the most successful film during 2001. Opening weekday and weekend ticket sales were record-breaking. Critics have praised both the film and the performances by the three principal young actors. The Daily Telegraph, a widely read British publication, has praised Emma for her performance. Emma received the Young Artist Award as the most outstanding young actor in an feature Film. She was later awarded five times for her part in the film.
